I think he got the pay raise because government jobs like that are on raising schedules...that's the only logical explanation for why he got a raise too.

I think if you watch the tape closely, you can see several cops almost getting hit by other cops in their cruisers. I bet that the captain wasn't too happy at the station about how this was handled. It looks like some of the police could have gotten really, really hurt by their own fellow...

Kanye is, unfortunately, like most celebrities these days; smug, misinformed, and without forethought. I just laugh when someone who makes they're money by singing tries to talk about national relief efforts or other complex matters they know nothing about. Fuck kanye.

I saw something like this on Mythbusters on The Discovery channel...the crash test dummy they used would have died if it was a person. I guess this guy was lucky.
