1) Get out of Iraq AND Afghanistan yesterday.
Iraq is obvious. Afghanistan is unwinnable (the former British Commander said). And bin Laden is probably in West Pakistan where the US cannot go after him (cause the Pakistani gov't won't let them) and the Pakistan gov't doesn't dare go after him...
Not me. Thank goodness for medical advancements.
Breast implants can turn a pretty girl-next-door with a pear shaped figure that she wasn't gaga to show off; into a gorgeous 'babe' who can't get enough of wearing her bikini. All in just a couple hours.
I was wrong don equis and I apologize.
Artilious is hands down the person I would vote for in the 'which FreeOnes member would most likely assassinate Obama'.
That cat is thinking: 'If you didn't feed me regularly, I swear to Cloister the Stupid (cat god) I would rip your fucking throat out whilst you *****.'
Yes. Cats think 'whilst' instead of 'while'. I don't know why.
^^^don equis' post #97
Well I couldn't agree with you more with your 'you all need to stop worshipping candidates' point.
Obama is a politician. That alone should cause distrust.
Make him earn your trust people. Don't just give it to him because you want to give it to someone.
He talks a...
If there was a thread entitled; 'Which FreeOnes member is most likely to assassinate Obama'; then I would definitely vote for you.
For a while now you have seemed almost obsessed with this guy. And not in a good way.
I guess less naivety is too much to ask as we wait and see if this guy is as good as the hype tells us he is.
And remember. He only got 51% of the vote. Hardly a ringing endorsement.
But thank goodness an African-American finally won. That's great in itself.
If out of 112,000,000 votes counted, just 3,000,000 Obama voters had voted for McCain then Obama would have lost. He only got 51.9% of the votes cast.
I'd hardly call that 'trounced' or 'it wasn't even close'.
NBC NEWS:
'With 9 votes counted, NBC News is declaring John McCain as the next President of the United States.'
;)
Btw, I wonder what Vegas odds on this election are? Can you legally bet on an election?
Re: "Vast majority" of Gitmo prisoners "never posed any real risk to America at all"
^After the '04 Presidential election, I lost all respect for the American electorate.
They are, for the most part, ignorant sheep.
But they are not the first in world history. Nor the last.
So would I, because I said I would. But never again unless he/she did something else in return. To do otherwise would be akin to getting a 'SUCKER' tattoo for your forehead.
Re: "Vast majority" of Gitmo prisoners "never posed any real risk to America at all"
No problem.
As bad as McCain might be. And as HIDEOUS as Bush is. They pale in comparison to the INCREDIBLE ignorance of the people that keep voting for these men. Especially those that re-elected Bush.
You take offense to Spleen telling you the right thing to do, when it was the very thing you did?:dunno:
I assume you mean you don't like others telling you what you should do.
I also assume you're not in the military.
I did not say that.
I was referring to the example given.
But if you offered to help a friend move and they said 'Great. And thanks, but I should warn you that I will never help you move. Not because I can't. Just because I **** moving other people.'
Would you still want to help them move?
I thought the world's most powerful entity was the human female. At least in terms of it's ability to evoke the strongest reactions from the most powerful men in human history.
Re: "Vast majority" of Gitmo prisoners "never posed any real risk to America at all"
^^to AFA's reply...
How is it 'simplistic'? I stated a hope and/or an objective. Not a means to obtain it.
And my post was in reference to your point about US world standing. My comment had nothing to do with...
No surprise there.
That's not a sign of friendship. That's the sign of someone who wants to get his/her things moved by you one day.
They may indeed be good friends. But I wouldn't use your example as a barometer.
I agree.
Re: "Vast majority" of Gitmo prisoners "never posed any real risk to America at all"
That can change. Quickly if the powers that be wish it.
The world longs for a more righteous America. And most of it will forgive the past 8 years (when it was run by the spoiled brat) to help to achieve it.
If you are going to depend on others for your happiness, then you are asking for disappointment.
Depend on yourself only. Everything else is a bonus,
So 'no', I don't get that pissed off at others anymore. I expect them to stab me/others in the back when push comes to shove. No exceptions.
I never said I wasen't.
It was advice. As a fellow human, I felt obliged to inform you of something you did not seem aware of.
If the roles were reversed, I would hope you would do the same for me.
***** tight, 'cupcake'.
A little advice guy...
You seem less 'informed' then you think you are. And you are intolerant to the point of bigotry.
And if I can see it, so can others.
And as for me being 'passive aggressive'? I just did it because you are acting like a jerk.:)
Where did I say that I was a 'foreigner'?
You actually had to have him explain that to you? It seemed absolutely obvious to me.
A little slow tonight are you 'cupcake'?
Re: "Vast majority" of Gitmo prisoners "never posed any real risk to America at all"
Gitmo
The perfect example of America at it's very worst:
paranoid, bigoted and arrogant to the point of stupidity.
