POssibly because you only have 2 posts yet on the board which means your account is being moderated. When you have 5 posts or more this is no longer the case, chances are the blog option becomes available then too.

That is because the myFreeOnes part, this includes the whole favorite babe thing, is not ready yet on the new site. The new site is still not officially launched, there is tons of stuff we still need to add.
