About fifteen minutes in when Betsy Kettleman told Jimmy, "you're the kind of lawyer guilty people hire", you could see the defeat on his face, definitely a defining moment.

Yep, a seminal moment in Jimmy's path. I think up until that point he was trying to be straight and narrow. But fuck it, take the cash.

Maybe it's been awhile, but I'm actually enjoying this show more than Breaking Bad.

I didn't think I would like anything better than Breaking Bad, but I have to agree, and I think you're on point with him trying to play it straight up to that point, it was like he was thinking, what's the fucking point? I can't wait for the next episode.

I didn't think I would like anything better than Breaking Bad, but I have to agree, and I think you're on point with him trying to play it straight up to that point, it was like he was thinking, what's the fucking point? I can't wait for the next episode.

I agree, when he decided to take the bribe, I was a bit surprised that he didn't shake them down for more than they offered - he easily could have in that situation. I think that shows that while his moral compass may not be pointing true north, he isn't a bad guy. Very likeable character so far.

Lots of angles going at the same time, truly great television. So Mike Ehrmantraut's back story is under the microscope in the next episode, BrBa fans should be going nuts. And holy hell was that one hot doctor(Clea DuVall) or what?

I freaking love this show! I wasn't sure how it would be and being a hardcore BB fan, I didn't have the highest of hopes. But I'm impressed and entertained, damn!

A great episode even by this show's standards and excellent performance by Jonathan Banks. I'm glad they're delving into his past.
That look that Jimmy gives Mike in the interrogation room, yeah, he's not just some old fogie in a ticket booth.
