Better Call Saul

Anyone else watching? I caught the first two episodes this afternoon on AMC On Demand. I know I'm missing episode three right now, but I'll catch up later. So far pretty good. I like that Tuco was making burritos again.

Seeing Mike being Mike, only in a parking lot booth is interesting. Seeing Jimmy in Cook County lockup was even interestinger.

Some time ago, the fotos with his billboard in the what looked like desert started showing up around the forum. I thaught it was some semi-famous southern advocate, probably either a direct colleague of Blue Countach or himself.

I was surprised when i learned it is a TV series. Will watch it, once available in Germany.

I never watched Breaking Bad. but I watched the first 3 episodes of BCS. I'm thinking of giving up on it. Just too much jumping around, and apparently you need to know who these characters are from to earlier series.

So it's worth coming out of my anti-TV mode to watch?

OK, I trust Xfire. So I'll get the TiVo set before I leave.

I am watching the show and look forward to seeing how Saul became the layer we Breaking Bad fans know and love.

It was also great seeing Tuco's loco self again

Just watched te short Episode Zero / The presentation and little intro. This is EXACTLY what I love to watch.

Again: Thanks, Ace. I would have probably have waited a couple years or so to watch it, had you not shared the web watching link.

Yeah, that couchtuner is pretty great. I'm going to catch up on Justified because Dish Network took a **** in my neighborhood.

I'm enjoying watching Bob Odenkirk work fleshing out his character seeing where the show is heading. It's been interesting so far. Not sure what the ratio between comedy and drama will be but I'm feeling optimistic so far about the show as a whole.

I never saw a minute of Breaking Bad, in fact, the first guy I know is now Saul. So I will enjoy it in reverse

BCS is set in the early 2000's, well before he met Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. The peripheral characters, Mike and Tuco, SPOILER ALERT, both died during the events portrayed in Breaking Bad. So if anything, you'll gain a better appreciation for Jimmy as a character after knowing his origins.

So even if Jimmy gets Nacho out, I'm guessing he's still in hot water. Maybe not dead, but definitely isn't going to get rid of ese loco anytime soon.
