Incredible. Obama’s top political strategist David Axelrod is rehabilitating the deranged socialist demagogue Jeremiah Wright, characterizing the many videos of his unhinged rants against America, economic freedom, and Caucasians as “ninety seconds of vitriol plucked from thirty years of sermons by some enterprising opposition researcher.”

Big Government responds:
The claim that Wright’s sermons were selectively edited by Obama’s political opponents contradicts what is known about Wright’s preaching and the radical, racialist creed of the Trinity United Church of Christ, to which Obama belonged for two decades and to which he contributed a large amount of money.

Axelrod’s claim is also contradicted by Obama himself, who has cited Wright’s enthusiasm for radical politics as the main reason he was attracted to the church.

Axelrot provides further confirmation that in Barack Hussein Obama’s circles, there is nothing controversial about Reverend Wrong’s evil views.

It amazes me that anybody takes Reverend Wright seriously. He preaches from a cash-ordained pulpit empowered by the funds of religiously-enthralled parishioners and big-money supporters with an often unrelated agenda. Rod Parsley does a similar turn, appealing to the other spectrum. Obama supports the church in the same way that other political leaders give generously to the evangelical of their liking. Despite what Black America thinks of Wright, or where they stand on his effect on issues, the feverish and emotive way in which Wright carries his message will ultimately carry as much clout as Jimmy Swaggart's FaceBook page.

I don't take any religious "personality" seriously. All this **** about how we're supposed to live and who we should blame for this and that... it's bullshit. It really points me towards Atheism. I guess you could call me an agnostic, but I can't stand the way most religions push their agendas in every single thing they do. I haven't necessarily ruled out a "God", but I feel like living my life as a good honest person should be enough to satisfy him (or her) without having to go worship once a week or 4 times a day or whatever. Be kind, be honest, be understanding. That's pretty much what I believe in.

I'm no expert on US history but weren't Blacks still treated as 2nd class citizens in the 1950s? If that's the case being called a Negro would be a major step up from being called a Ni**er and probably the most they could hope for, it would have been ludacrous for them to have demanded being called African Americans when they weren't even allowed to vote, as America finally came to its senses and realised all its citizens are equal there's no reason why ethnic minorities can't ask to be addressed in a more respectful manner with no racial historical connections. ps There is no derogatory word that can be used against a white man that can cause as much distress as ones used against a black man as whites were never enslaved by blacks, no term aimed at you will ever take you back to a time when your ancesters were stolen from their homeland to be used as free labour, traded like cattle, thrown off ships to drown because they were sick/weak or to avoid detection by British patrols or hung from trees in front of baying mobs.
