I'm defending him because this whole flap is over the word "colored". And that's a stupid thing to get emotional over. And it's a stupid thing to call someone a racist over.

I'm defending him because if he has a problem with black people, it's his problem. As long as he causes no harm and breaks no laws, he and anyone else can be as racist as they want.

It doesn't happen often, but it does happen (including recently) that a member will mention their dislike for gay people. I never see a lynch mob form over it around here. Nor should it. So let us dispense with the double standards. Shit, recently I posted about my hatred for muslims, Islam, Arabs in which I called them animals. Where's my ass-kicking? Not only did I not get one, I had people agreeing with my blatantly racist sentiments.

I don't like mob mentality and I don't like bullying. There have been a couple of recent time travel threads. I didn't think of it at the time but, I'd like to go back to middle school, knowing what I know now, and deliver the smack-down of a lifetime on the bullys that infested my hometown like cockroaches. I can't do that, but I still don't like bullying. The simple fact of the matter is that people like to gang up on Sam, regardless of what he posts. This is a typical and tired example of that. Enough already. He's not going anywhere and he has the same right to post drivel as the rest of us.

I've never been a bully in my life. You're one of those guys that walk up on a confrontation and make judgments without knowing the facts. Sam instigated this thread, like many of his other threads, to be intentionally confrontational. If a guy goes out looking for a fight he's likely to find one but he can't claim he's a victim when he picked it in the first place.

Of course Sam instigated this thread. I say again, this is a forum. He, like everyone else, is supposed to instigate. Otherwise we have nothing to talk about.
