358 days - Breakthru

No one cares a **** but I post it anyway, because we (Belgian) have our own new personal World Record. Yesterday night our political negotiaters have agreed on a budget that should be sufficient for the requirements of the EU parlement.
Since the elections back in 2010 we are now officially 532 days without a government. Last point of discussion is migration and immigration. The negotiators estimate they can start the government formation now by December 5th. So then we will be at day 538. :D
From then on the country can go downhill again, while we were actually coping very well without a government.
In 2012 we have local elections. In 2013 then we'll have new national elections. :rofl2:

Just some numbers to show how impressive this record is:
- 194 days (formal Belgian record), but we broke that one back in December 25th, 2010
- 208 days (formal European record) for the Netherlands, we broke it January 8th, 2011
- 249 days (time needed in Iraq after the war), we broke it February 17th, 2011
- 353 days (formal World Record Cambodja), we broke that one as well now

With a bit of luck things go wrong and might not even be able to form a government by December 5th, 2011.
Who will ever break this record? Who will ever be able to(except for Belgium of course :D) :dunno:
