Why does everyone keep talking about experience when it comes to the Bulls? Boozer, Korver, and Brewer were on the same perennial playoff Jazz teams. Rose, Deng, and Noah have gritty playoff experience together. Collectively, they have experience.

the core of rose, deng and noah has not won a playoff serious. maybe the addition of boozer, korver and brewer might help but i like the celtics experience, heat talent and magics jumpshooting and the knicks when their team works together and play defense.

lol. Cmon. They're a D'Antoni team. Defense isnt in their vocabulary. And you really think the Knicks D is less likely to show than the Bulls "inexperience"? Last year the Bulls were inexperienced. This year, they're the best defensive team in the league, with the MVP, deep and have a championship calibre coach. And they're fighters. All grit and heart. Maybe not Boozer, but everyone else lol. They truly are a team.
The Knicks have a lot more questions than the Bulls do ***. It'll show when the Knickd don't win 2 games these playoffs.
first of all celtics has been 14-11 since the kendrick perkins trade and if the Knicks catch fire and make their threes, they can steal a game or two from the celtics and if they play some sort of defense in two out of their remaining five, they got a shot.
the key thing to watch in the playoffs is will someone step up when rose is tightly defended by the other team. there is no doubt rose is the best player on the bulls and other teams will try and stop him from beating them. so who on the bulls will step up? who will be their scottie pippen? definitley not keith bogans.

The question isn't who will step up if Rose has a bad game, it's will they step up? Boozer is the second option on this team and he along with Deng are the players who would have to pick up the slack if Rose falters.

Y'see when you have the best defense in the league, even when you're down, you're never that far away. So many people focus on how Rose scores that they don't pay attention to the fact that they themselves aren't scoring. Just take a look at the Knicks game from a couple of days ago. The Knicks had 55 pts coming out of the half and had 57 pts with 5:00 mins left in the 3rd quarter. They put double teams on Rose in that quarter, and lived with Deng and Boozer scoring here and there, but looked up to realize they were getting nit-picked apart.
I want to see how the Pacers and eventually the other teams ****** Rose in the playoffs. Honestly I don't think they will be able to take Rose out of the game, he's just too good. He's arguably one of the best players in the league.
You couldn't ask for a better opening game to these playoffs! The Pacers played they're best game since Reggie Miller was there, and they still came up short. I was sweating down the stretch on this, no bullshit, but the MVP came through.

Experience? Yes. Success? No. The Bulls and Jazz routinely get bounced in the first or second round. We just haven't seen this core group of players have success in the playoffs.
Bit of a scare? Talk about major scare. The Bulls should have lost this game, but like you said... D-Rose....:bowdown:. Very D-Wade-like, 21 FT, putting his team on his back.
My Heat had a bit of a scare. 1 point game under 2 minutes. This has been a problem for the Heat all season. They get big leads and become very complacent. Lebron and Wade combine for 10 FGs.
Expect a big performance from Wade and Lebron next game.
I expected this game to be a cakewalk for the bulls because the bulls lost five times at home all season. good thing the bulls got rose. lets hope the pacers keep this series interesting and the other three games won't be a blow out by the bulls.
I was shocked by this. Atlanta impressed me for the first time this season.
I like the Mavs in this series. Portland was the "sexy" pick and I think that pissed the Mavs off.

In all my years of watching the playoffs, i haven't seen games ones as close as the ones i have seen this year. so far all the top seeds had to come back in the fourth to win or lost. this makes the first round more exciting to watch.
