I didn't realize it, but Cleveland actually has more wins than Minnesota. Damn. On the bright side, top 5 picks always help. And Rubio is supposed to head over next year.

The second year in the franchise's history that they lead the league in losses. The last time was the infamous year that Shaq came into the league. That year lives in infamy because as many know, the Wolves were the lottery leaders that year and the Magic recieved the coveted #1 pick and, of course, Shaq. As far as cursed franchises go, the Wolves no doubt are up there at the top. Glen Taylor seems gracious enough to the good people of the state, and I've heard no talk about relocating - just a 100 million boost to the Target Center. I'm thinking with a real-deal centerman, with Love, Beasley and some of the promising looking young talent they have they could improve immensely next year.

As far as Rubio, I've given up holding my breath on him. Even though there is talk he might be coming to town, the fact that he's averaging a paltry 4 points (give or take) a game in Europe is pretty sad. I understand at his position it's more about "quarterbacking," but really the lack of scoring worries me.

Oh, and local sports writers are calling for Rambis' head.

I think this is inevitable. David Kahn (the shmuck who oversaw the Rubio mess) should no doubt be out of there.

Kahn def needs to go. What was the deal with drafting 3 PG's is the 1st round last year? And trading away what looks like the best of the bunch (Ty Lawson). I know hindsight is 20/20 but that ranks up there with Matt Millens wide receiver obsession.

Kahn definitely frustrates me when he puts on this everything is kosher routine on after every loss. I don't know. The team has never been the same since the "Big Three," Garnett, Casell and Sprewell departed. Al Jefferson was a pretty big loss as well. Furthermore, the fact that no real superstar is coming in (again) when the Wolves may get the #1 is just more to be pesimistic about. The way the West is structured the odds of this franchise ever winning a title are slim to very much fucking none.

San Antonios turn to avoid becoming the answer to the trvia question: who was the first time to lose to the Grizzleis in the playoffs?

I thought about taking Atlanta, but even though they won the season series, last years blowout sweep by 25 points a game against Orlando is still fresh in my mind. Joe Johnson will fold up like a lawnchair. The Magic will
take care of business.

Raptors lose to the Heat's B-team. I am going to need therapy after this season. Why is it that even though Bargnani is a complete disgrace on defence, without him we can't win?

Chris Broussard is a LeBron James homer.

Skip probably hates Derrick Rose more than Lebron.

Skip Bayless only bothered me when he was a Spurs homer. but hes jumped of the bandwagon now that theyve gotten older and are not winning championships

the west is so predictable for the most part. only 3 teams have any chance to come out of it. the spurs, lakers and thunder. Dallas is a fraud.

the East is so wide open. Boston and Orlando or Atlanta can all win second round sets on the road

the west is a death trap if you are a good team. i think if the celtics beat the knicks they got a chance of making it back to the finals. this is probably the team's last year to be good. time is running out for them.

Caron Butler is an X factor for Dallas. if he comes back and plays like he can, the Mavs can be enough of a factor to get past portland and bother the Lakers in round 2. but i dont think he will come back, and even if he does, he wont be any factor. still you never know
