The I Told You So Obama Will Fuck Up Thread

What are they bitter at him for considering the overwhelming majority of the people who attended those ginned up gatherings actually got a tax cut that same day???

Consider this, the amount of people those rallies turned out amounted to be a little less than the amount of people who would show up at a general, political campaign event. So if the GOP said (using Fox and the other usual radio suspects as their means of getting the word out) they wanted to stage simultatenous gatherings all over the country to protest Obama, why wouldn't every GOPer who could show with their anti-Obama and anti-tax signs to make it appear to be something it wasn't?

That wasn't an American revolt as characterized by GOPer spinners. It was nothing more than a bunch of Republican rallies orchestrated to be held on the same day.

If the average person beyond the Fox crowd can't see through that shill then we are lost.

As someone who attended my local tea party... I can tell you that there were much more than GOPers there.

By the way... it wasn't a GOP event, it was a NON-partisan event. Meaning ANYONE regardless of your political stance was more than welcome to attend.

I find it insulting that MSNBC making fun of everyday Americans that gather to voice a dissenting opinion of the government.

Let me guess, you were one of the few that snickered like a 2nd grader when the mindless tv personalities were saying "teabagging".

You know this for sure? If so, how so? Also, McCain had members of other parties show up in support of him...does that now mean his campaign stop wasn't a GOP event?

It was billed by GOPers, promoted by GOPers on broadcast media and likely sponsored by GOPers....stop me when I get to the "NON-partisan" part...

It was billed by GOPers because alot were ASKED to participate by speaking at the rallies.

Fox covered the events because the other liberal media either ignored or just made fun of the events.

There were no sponsorships for these events. I didn't see any corporate logos out among the crowd.

Did you? Oh that's right, you didn't. YOU weren't there, you just giggled like a little child at the teabagging comments didn't you?

If you don't know, then do not open your mouth. Your foot is not a flattering accessory.

You have your facts as little tangled. Fox not only covered it they were the ones billing and advertising it.

GOPers were "asked"??? Sure.

Sponsorship doesn't mean corporate name-tagging in this case. It means who paid to set up the podiums, mics, stages, venue, etc.

That was paid for or otherwise sponsored by someone....do you know who, in every case??

I'll reserve judgement on the foot-in-mouth assertion until you have a chance to respond...if you can.

I never said anything about "big name" GOPers. But certainly GOPers sponsored much if not all of this as being in a party means you network to organize.

Local events are always orchestrated by what's call grass roots party members...and what you list are examples of grass roots organizations.

Funny but the conservative press sure made fun of Obama as being a grass roots and community organizer for his causes.

Sounds like the same thing on the other side of the politcal spectrum!

Hope it went well though! Honest! People have a right to gather, if they dont like what is happening. I sure rallied against "W" and the Republicans during the last 8 years.

Gimme a freak'in break! What do you want? DO liberals use the internet?

Do groups like ACORN not use grassroots organization?

These events were by normal everyday Americans that make if lucky $30,000 a year.

What.... were you fishing for the rich, white Republican funder and you didn't get it?

Just tell me what you really want, instead of trying to find something that you can blog about on some screwy "fuzzybunny-treehugging" website.

Yes, but the difference between you and some others here is that your NOT an asshole about it. Yes, you disagree but at least your civil.

Guys like HM just piss me off because like some other strong arm libs, they want to try to BEAT me into submission.

I've been nothing but civil with you. I haven't personally attacked you nor belittled you.

I have never characterize anything you've state in a pejorative way and all I've done is respond to your statements as have You Mine. Now if that pisses you off..you should have told me. That probably wouldn't have stopped me from responding to something I disagreed with in your posts but at least I would have known you were sensitive.

I'm not pissed in the least. It just a simple discussion as far as I'm concerned.

Ain't gonna happen ! :nono:

Additionally, they'll categorize anybody and everybody who doesn't believe precisely as they do a republicans, but those truths are not self evident !

knowling leftists, you know better than me than they like to label everyone who is right wing and that likes order as a republican or an extreme right wing person.

common characterizations of right and left wingers,
left wingers: granola eating anti-gun tax making pinko socialists
right wingers: meat eating freedom limiting gun toting war mongering fascists
now of course both of these carry some truth and some exaggeration. liberals do tend to support social programs which require taxes to be raise and right wingers construe this as big government. right wingers tend to support a strong military and larger elements of social control (ie with abortion, stem cells, drugs, etc) which left wingers construe as an attempt to christianize and militarize our government. what's true...something in the middle. :D always the doctrine of the mean.

republicans sure care about money. they don't protest against war or torture but if you threaten to raise taxes on the rich then they go nuts and organize those idiotic teabag parties. shows what there priorities are

And when have you ever stood up for your ideals? I mean really did it?

Again you are representing yourself as an un-informed sock puppet.

I just can't take you seriously anymore.

Republicans and people of there ilk that are complaining about the President’s policies are kind like arsonists who complain that they think the Firefighters used too much water.

Can things get so bad for people that they would subject themselves to a tyranny ?
It would seem that at some point they should be blaming themselves
for some of their miseries.

Really? You actually took his posts seriously???
It's a novel for him when he posts 2 sentences, and always says the same thing..."I hate...**** "; they're all fucking ****** "; Republicans are**** " , etc.

I like a spirited discussion, but DlaC is like the old geezer yelling at the neighborhood kids..."GET OFF MY LAWN!, goddammit!":rofl2:
