I have no idea, either go into pubs with alot of old men in, or on the sea front thats the only place ive seen people eating them.

You missed the greatest of them all-JMW Turner who could paint in all styles and who led the way with Impressionist work a long time ahead of the rest of the world.A truly brilliant artist who really justifies the over used attribute of genius.

Yes i did.That is because i am a clot with a memory like a sieve.He was a genius.
 
To answer three questions at once;
Fogs are rare these days because of the Clean Air Act.At one time millions of households heated their houses and industry powered its factories using raw coal.The pollution caused was appalling-men had to change shirt collars (they were detachable then) at lunch time because they had become filthy by then.And it caused REAL fogs -we were often sent home early from school and one day I had trouble finding my way home.Then there were the smogs (SMoke+fOG) which ****** thousands.

Best **** from Britain? We have two sorts, the traditional cask ales and the mass produced swill often called lager (which is an insult to true lagers) which match up with Budweiser,Miller,Coors etc-really unfit to *****.
Our good **** really has to be drawn fresh from a cask so does not travel well.Once put into bottles or cans it loses much of its flavour components and isn't nearly as good.But try beers from Fuller's and also Coniston Bluebird to get an impression.But it's really like comparing instant coffee with that from fresh ground beans.
Food-off the top of my head there are a few. Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding (if you can get good beef, it's said that Scottish is the best in the world though Irish and some English isn't that far behind).......Stilton which is the King of cheeses (even Mitterand rated it above anything from France) , fish and chips (but done properly, decent haddock not cod and fried in beef dripping) and steak and kidney pudding which again if done well is a meal fit for a King.

You can have skin on fish cant you? Ask Chef he'll know as long as its de-scaled its fine, if it had scales you'd have many, many, many little bits inside your mouth.

Skin is okay :dunno:
