The forum was updated to a newer version the other day and this is just standard functionality on the latest version so it's not as if we thought it would make for a good new feature.
It is literally the first time I have seen it, and didn't know what was being talked about at first.
Anyway, I will weigh up the pros and cons and see if it can be turned off... or at least advise on how you can get around it.

The easy way around it is to reduce the URL as Connor did. Otherwise, you get the 'feature'.
No sooner had I written this than that idea doesn't work (even though the 'feature' doesn't appear on Preview).
Hence, I left a space again after threads/.

OK - so workaround methods are to wrap the link in URL tags yourself or use the insert link button which achieves the same effect.
e.g.

[URL]https://www.freeones.com/forums/threads/laura-sinn-laura-erotic.1040304/[/URL]Alternatively, just let it do what it does and then go back and edit your post to replace the embed tags with URL tags. (biggest faff of the three)
It probably isn't the worst feature in the world - just isn't particularly helpful for the purposes of this thread and what we have been used to.
Maybe I can disable it for just this thread or something - will have to see.
I am yet to see it used in another context to judge its merits.
I don't see an option to turn it off though so if I can't do it on a forum-wide basis then I may struggle to do it on a thread-only basis. It may just be something you (and we) have to get used to. It still takes you to the destination thread, just in a different manner. And if you can't or don't want to get used to it, you'll just have to take those extra steps mentioned in order to replicate the old way of internal links being handled - that's just the way it seems to be I'm afraid.
