Your top albums of 2012

Well, just like that, another year has passed. It's getting insane now how fast they are going now that I hit 30. So what were your favorite/top albums of 2012? Since I really don't buy and/or even listen to the tripe that comes out today save for a small handful, I will only pick a top 4:

1. Alchemist - Russian Roulette (Alc is just so viscious here with this)
2. Dr. John Locked Down
3. Lil Wyte - Christmas Album
4. Nas - Life is Good

RS as usual has their heads up their asses looking for all the money the A&Rs have been sending them to review their shit. But admitedly there are a few in there I've been meaning to check out (er, download) http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/50-best-albums-of-2012-20121205

knows petras secret: she farted.
been listing to a lot of the still album by nine inch nails, but that was recorded in 2002. i dont think i heard anything produced in '12 except maybe i bet on sky by dinosaur jr. it was ok.

My top 3 albums would probably be
1. Soundgarden - Kind Animal,
2. Serj Tankian - Harakiri
3. Xavier Rudd - Spirit Bird.
All 3 aren't their best work but that to me is because they have set such high examples in the past.
I was disappointed with Adrenalin Mob - Omerta, its ok to good but not great which with the talent involved was disappointing.
There's a few more albums like Projected - Human, Corrosion Of Conformity - self titled, The Mark Of Cain - Songs Of The Third and Fifth, OverReactor - Mouth Of The Ghetto, Call Me No One - Last Parade and Jeff Loomis - Plains Of Oblivion, but I haven't been listening to them long enough to really rate them yet. So my top 3 could very well change over time.

i dont know if i bought anything made in 2012... i almost certainly would have said the new QOTSA record, but they ended up taking their sweet-ass time.

Lord Dipstick
1) Muse-The 2nd. Law (A monster of a record! Stadium Rock, Riffs, Dub Step, etc. etc.)
2) Kanye West-G.O.O.D Music presents Cruel Summer (A suprisingly a good, old school type mixtape....and I'm not a Kanye West fan at all!)
3) Testament-The Dark Roots of Earth (Great, old School Trash!)

A few I've enjoyed from last year in no particular order:

Swans - The Seer
Crystal Castles - III
Aesop Rock - Skelethon
Tame Impala - Lonerism
Fiona Apple: The Idler Wheel....
Both Death Grips releases, 'No Love Deep Web' and 'The Money Store'
Flying Lotus - Until the Quiet Comes

...

KREATOR's "Phantom Antichrist" is definitely my personal Metal album of 2012. First I only got this because it's KREATOR, so I thought what the hell but didn't really expect a whole lot. Well, then I listened to it. Over all these years I've always checked out their new stuff, but I basically checked out after "Extreme Aggression" (1989), which I think is one of the best Thrash albums ever made. Phantom Antichrist is different, it's a little bit more on the modern side, with a lot of melodies woven into the music, but the Thrash is still and Mille also showed that he's still got it. Anyhow, it was my highlight of this past year.

I've always liked P!NK's music but I gotta say, "The Truth About Love" is a pop music masterpiece. Usually, when it comes to music like this, I like two, three, maybe four songs on an entire album, but this one never loses its groove, its punch, whatever.
