I really liked the vibe of Vice City, but for shear beauty of execution and the shear enormity San Andreas.

I'm sure I'll be recanting and declaring my love for IV soon.

San Andreas.

I never played the first or second GTA games.
I started with GTA3 for PS2. Then I got Vice City, which was leaps and bounds better.

THEN, I got San Andreas and that game blew the others clean out of the water.

I have Liberty City Stories for PS2 as well, but it was such a step backwards that I couldn't enjoy it. I didn't even want to pick up Vice City Stories.

San Andreas gets my vote!

For me it's Vice City with San Andreas following close behind.

There is just something about causing mayhem on the streets of Vice City while Maurice Chavez and co. from VCPR Pressing Issues continue to talk nonsense in the background. :thumbsup:

That's still one of my favourite games of all time. Proves you don't need fancy plot or graphics in a game to make it enjoyable.

GTA Vice City closely followed by GTA III. One great thing that Vice City had was the 80's radio. So many heavy metal classics

GTA III because it was so new and revolutionary . The other GTA games where great , but GTA III was something special for me . It started a new genre .

San Andreas, ONLY because you can somewhat "customize" your character. Once GTA comes out with a game where you can make your character completely from scratch, then I'll be happy.
