I finally just got into the OnlyFans site late Sunday on May 11, 2020. I had enrolled in early January. I was beset with Password problems from the get-go. I had forgotten to write down my password. Their customer service/support team is very slow in responding. At a snail's pace. They fixed the issue in early March. Anyway, I found the OnlyFans team's response on Sunday, May 10.
I was able to login and I started following some of the ladies whom I was following at ManyVids. I bought content over there too at Onlyfans. No problem.
1. You can follow ladies for a price (some are $7.00 or less/mo. Most are between $10/mo to $15/mo. Some ladies' prices are more expensive $30/mo or more.) The ladies always have "reduced" monthly subscription rates.

2. You can follow ladies for free. If you follow a "free" lady, then in order to contact them is through what they call a "tip."
If you follow a lady, just make sure she has plenty of content there. Otherwise, you can be paying a monthly fee for a lady with very limited content. Best to take a monthly subscription with a model who is very active there.
I've bought content from : Larkin Love, Bianca Beauchamp, Haub Suicide, Brooke Vitton, Lynnie Marie, Antje Utgaard, Amanda Paris, and Kyla Moody.
You can get messages at two places. One at your home page. It covers all the ladies you are following. (that's a general post for the day) The other page is in your PM (private messaging) area or as the ladies call it, DM (direct messaging) section. (that's a more "personalized" post to you as the buyer of content.)
I'm finding out that there is a bit of trouble navigating in OnlyFans at the PM/DM point. You have a thin sliver of a scroll bar to work with the ability to go up and down when viewing purchased content. Also too, you can inadvertently be charged double. It does get confusing in there. Because you sometimes can only "tip" as a response. You pay for the content the first time. Then if you want to comment then a "tip" comes up again. There is no other way to get around that. I'll know more when I review this month's credit card statement when it comes. Though I am getting better at it. The navigating part at the site.
Whatever you do, if there is an issue with being charged twice for content. Do not chargeback your credit card. Because you as a user can have your account blocked. Best to take it up with OnlyFans and/or with the model herself. As a result of a chargeback, it's probably not just OnlyFans who will block you. But the lady that you are following. OnlyFans will terminate a user of the site if they chargeback the card. The lady will not appreciate it either.
And yes, Only Fans does allow you the ability to stop following a lady and to cancel subscriptions. No problem.
Everything (all content) comes locked.
Remember content that you purchase there is exclusive to the OnlyFans site. So don't go posting pictures on other forums.

- If you buy videos, you cannot download them. They are only available as streaming vids. Just make sure what you are buying is the 720p version not the standard 480p version setup at the site. The 720p versions come in clear. The 480p versions not so much. They come in grainy.
- With pictures, you can buy single pics or pics in groups (four through eight pics) depending on what the lady is offering. To open a picture, you left click on it. You cannot right click on them and "save image as" When you right click, the picture enlarges to a very large scale. So Instead I'll just open them up and I'll create a folder and make snips of them and save those pictures into a folder. Then I enlarge them using the Microsoft Paint Program in accordance to my preference.
Remember content that you purchase there is exclusive to the OnlyFans site. So don't go posting pictures on other forums.

Thanks for the info John. Ive been trying to join onlyfans but they dont seem to want to accept any of my debit cards. Based on your review, the platform doesnt sound too great. No saving of photos or videos? That's crap. On patreon, you can save photos, but with some models you have to right click and save, where as some models allow zip downloads. Video downloads arent always allowed but sometimes they are. Usually when models dont want to allow video downloads they use vimeo, I just use a vimeo downloading program to grab the videos. And patreon allows paypal. Let me know if you find a way to grab videos and a better way to grab photos.

There's no way to do anything with a purchased video at OnlyFans other than to just view them. They do have picture-in-picture ability. A small box opens at the bottom of your monitor and you can view them like that. But that's it.
The ladies, (OnlyFans calls them content creators though there are also male models and male pornstars there too) get to keep 80% of what they provide. So if an uploaded video costs a user (us the content buyers) $75.00 they get to keep $60.00. OnlyFans gets $15.00 on the sale.
Videos at Onlyfans don't cost that much. I just used that as an example.
As opposed to say Manyvids. A lady putting up that same $75.00 video at MV gets on average only 40% (after expenses) or just $30.00. Bella French and her MV team take the remaining $45.00 from the sale.
That why a lot of ladies are leaving Manyvids by the droves. Brooke Vitton left for that reason. Larkin Love made almost all of her MV videos free and now just uploads to OnlyFans. Larkin also likes the chat interaction at OnlyFans between herself and her fans and followers. Bianca Beauchamp, although she hasn't yet left MV and she is still considering it, was the one who told me these payout schedules between OnlyFans and Manyvids. Right now, OnlyFans is more lucrative platform. That's why she is more active there.
I don't know the payout scale on the other clip sites of what the ladies would net after expenses. Those would be clips4sale and iWc (I Want Clips). Those are the two main competitors to Manyvids.

I sub to Carmen Rae. I find OnlyFans is really slow, but the past couple weeks, I think they must have done something because now things are loading a lot faster.
In general, your experience is going to depend on the girl and her work ethic and they way she handles her page. Some girls do more and better than others, obviously. It really just depends. The prices are usually cheap and a lot of girls run specials, so find a girl you like, try it, and see what you think. Canceling is super easy.

John, are you using a debit card or credit card to join onlyfans, and what sort of financial institution are you using, is it a bank or credit union, or something else? Im having a lot of trouble with this 3d secure crap.

With the activation fee, the gift card would be reduced further by that charge. Remember that you're going to be putting in a card number (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) into your Onlyfans profile. That card number will be part of your permanent record. Your Onlyfans purchases should far exceed what a gift card's benefits would be.
For example, with the subscribing to a lady; buying some pics, and a video that would be on average $12 for the monthly recurring subscription (if you are taking the subscription at the "reduced" fee), $25 on average for the pictures, $35 on average for a video plus the activation fee $5.00. That comes to $77. That pretty much nullifies most gift cards. You can't use a $25, $50 or $75 gift card in that situation.
Other times, gift cards aren't running off a major bank, such as JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, etc. You'll need that when you verify your first purchases over at OnlyFans. So it would be best to use a validated credit card when purchasing content over there.

I have OF paid subscriptions with Kimmy Granger, Madison Ivy and Lily Kawaii and then I follow a few others that have Free subscriptions. I have no complaints and I chat with Kimmy Granger almost daily, she's mad cool. I will say that not all content creators lock their content, for example Madison Ivy and Riley Reid (I had subbed her for a month) only charge you the sub fee, once that's paid you have open access to all their posts including pics and vids, Lily Kawaii also has this.
The only issue is that you don't know what anyone's content is like until you subscribe, so if you can get them when they having a free month or if they're having a discount that would be a great time to check them out. That's how I checked out Britney Amber, Aaliyah Love and Sophie Dee. I might keep Britney and Aaliyah (I always liked her back when she was here) because they have pretty good live shows, I haven't decided yet because I'm trying to keep paid subscriptions low. I've seen a couple of threads asking to rate onlyfans, and it's a hard question to answer. The problem is that it very greatly depends on who you describe to. Overall I think the content on onlyfans is quite a bit more poor compared to traditional professional sites, but again it just depends on the person. Some industry people there have a downright professional level of quality with their pictures and videos and post them all the time, while others seem like they hardly do anything and milk money off thier fans while having nothing but grainy images captured from their phones.
One of my biggest complaints about the site is that there is no reasonable preview system to know what you are going to get. I'm not asking for a bunch of freebies, but at least enough to know the general content some model is putting out without going into it blind.
I think it would also do well for the site for it to list who puts a lot of their content behind additional paywalls and who gives their content out with just a regular subscription.

I havent joined onlyfans, but I have joined a number of models' patreon pages, and my experience is that if its not a model that you can find on softcore paysites such as Scoreland, Playboy, and Metart, you should think twice about joining unless youre really obsessed with the model. The more unknown the model is the more likely they dont know what is an acceptable service for a paying customer. By far the best value I have seen on patreon is the patreon page for the Indian art nude model Devi (Dakini, Carla White, Sabine). Only $5 a month, high resolution photos, and sets downloadable by zip.

The problem is with free accounts, they request a credit card to follow these girls, outside the USA not everyone has one and getting it is a privilege in many countries, they should think about that.
