The idea of this thread is pretty simple.
Build your own soccer dream team.
But it has to be a "normal" line-up. (Goalkeeper - Defense - Midfield - Striker)

I think its pretty clear.
(You can build a second team if you want to - I know how difficult it is to use only 11 players)

I'm not sure Cisse should play at all.

He's currently 6th choice striker at Liverpool and they are even trying to get rid of him. But Mars who was going to take him after his season long loan have even got their doubts. They now have gone back on the deal saying they aren't sure about this or that. But would still be happy to take him on loan for another season. Liverpool have said no deal they just want to sell him and no loaning.

He's spent the last two seasons with broken legs for a total time of 13 months on each leg break taking about 6 months to heal. But even before that he's shown he has great speed but his control and shot at times is really bad.

So I'm not sure I'd have him in any team, never mind a dream team :dunno:

sorry that is what I meant.
I actually wanted to "use" Mehmet Scholl or Thierry Henry on this position.
But Scholl would be just another Bayern player and I didnt want to "use" to many Bayern players.
Many others would take Henry and noone Cissé so I wanted to make something different.

Just cause Rafa doesn't like him doesn't mean he's not one of the world's top 40 strikers. He is. He starts for France when he's fully fit, with Henry, and he's one of the fastest guys around with potentially lethal finishing. He's had a great season in Ligue 1 and I wish him the best wherever he ends up. I'd start him on any team. I'll never forget how his stunning goal helped win us the best FA Cup final I've ever seen.

I said he was fast but for the lethal finishing we'll certainly differ on that. Yes he's scored the odd good goal. But many of miss kick are his goals, especially for Liverpool in what little he's scored for us. Most end up in the stand or as I've seen one two going out for a throw.

If he'd had a great season in Ligue 1 then why aren't Mars buying him like agreed when they took him on loan. Simple he didn't do that well and that is why they don't want to commit to signing him. They rather go for the cheap option so they could still not take him at the end of next season. Also he's been playing up front for France during the bad French team showing.

He might have looked great a few years ago, but that player's long gone.
