I'm in the market currently for something better than the Sony crap I have as a deck right now. The thing skips worse than any stereo in history, even though it's like new. I'm leaning towards JVC, Aiwa, Blaupunkt or Kenwood, although Alpine has always been the best, IMO. Pioneer stereos have always tended to have a sharper, more ear-piercing sound to me for some reason, so I tend to stay away from them because I play my music LOUD. I'd like opinions, preferably on what people have had the best success with stereos that skip little or none.
