I really enjoy the meaning of this song: Jumper is about a friend of the band's manager who jumped off a bridge in San Diego when he was in high school because he was gay. It's an anti-suicide song, probably the most depressing, lyrically, of all the tracks on the album.

Jenkins also wrote the song because he had gone through a time in his life when he felt like no one understood him and he wanted to let people know that it's ok.
