My dad is going to see family in Mexico in October. Is the violence bad over there? Yes but these drug lords aren't Islamic terrorists, they arent killing people for the hell of it. This is about money and most of those dead were involved in the drug trade.

Do you have a vague idea just how many innocent people are killed in this ongoing shooting gallery? Needless to say, it's difficult to get an accurate body count assessment coming from inside a paramilitary war zone, but innocent deaths amongst non drug trading civilians is so frequent that it's become a way of life . . in areas like Juarez anyway.
Full Article[ . . Calderon has successfully pushed the United States to acknowledge its own responsibility for the violence in Mexico since it is American drug consumers who fuel demand and American guns smuggled into Mexico that are used by the drug gangs.

Well I can get the Tequila here so I'll stay between Canada and the US till they stop killing each other so much.

We will soon be dealing with gangs of men who are backed by billions and encouraged to horrify the public. Men who'd make Pablo cringe. And I feel really fucking bad about the inevitable people who will be made examples of before we actually pull boots from 'Atsfuckedupistan and put them on the border.
Faces on soccer balls, people. That's who we'll be dealing with soon. People who sew human faces onto soccer balls.
I think that's actually Florida. This just proves that Mexico is God's blind spot.
