You know, I've asked hookers and strippers who provide "extras" about relationships, and they palpably say one of two things on the matter: 1. Guys don't want a relationship with them because of their job, or 2. The guy they're with is open-minded, knows about her job, and is comfortable with it. One girl said that she had an open relationship with her boyfriend, and he knew that she was a prostitute, and she knew that he regularly hooked up with other girls, and they were both ok with it.
If I were in the situation that the thread describes I would probably try to convince her to change jobs because I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing my partner with scores of other guys.

Finding out what she does for a living is something you would find out within the first couple of dates. I'm having trouble picturing a scenario where I'd make it all the way to the love stage without finding out that she's a porn star or prostitute.

Maybe it would be a case where she's a part-timer and doing multiple things? :dunno: A girl I knew years ago was a college student, worked in a pet store and also worked on weekends for a service that did bachelor parties (she was a part-time stripper). She also offered extra$ after she danced, so I guess you could say she was a part-time hooker too. There was no romance between us, but she was pretty sharp and seemed to have a good head on her shoulders. I talked with her about business and real estate more than anything else. She understood money. And the last time I saw anything about her was on LinkedIn: she was a lawyer for the state of California. I thought about dropping her a line, but didn't... would probably be awkward. From a stripper/hooker to a lawyer. Man, she really went down the tubes.

Considering that pornstars and prostitutes have been banged by HUGE numbers of dudes (just check the numbers of guys on IAFD) I would have to say that any "love" i feel for the chick would vanish immediately once I found out that she was a gigantic whore. Who wants to be in a relationship, or marry, a chick who has had sex with 50, or 100, or 150, or 200+ dudes? Not me.

Feeling attraction towards a woman is more than just looks. Believe it or not but we men attribute good looks with good quality ("quality" as in "everything else"). So if we see a woman who is physically very attractive we automatically believe she is more sociable, interesting, healthier etc than the "average" woman in a split second. However if she is "easily available" she begins to look physically less attractive. Being a pornstar says alot about a girl's personality and attitude.
But then again a girl who only does G/G is also a pornstar. There are also pornstars who are very "boring" in the eyes of many (as in they aren't particularly 'dirty') because they won't do gangbangs, don't swallow, don't do anal, don't do IR and/or work only with specific actors. These girls also tend to be the more attractive looking pornstar. Coincidence? I don't think so.... Am I the only one that has noticed the really hardcore pornstars (gangbangs, DPs, multiple swallows, DAP/anals frequently, featured in the "gangland" series) are on average very "average" looking?

Of course I would still be with her. Why would her way of making a living affect how I feel about her?? I have a job, she has a job. That simple! As long as we both work in our jobs in a professional manner, then it's all good. Our jobs are different, of course, but it's what we have to do to make a living.
Porn stars and prostitutes can be good people too. I don't see why anyone would dump them just because of the work they do. It's just a job!!
Exactly. She should come right out and admit it from the beginning. It's certainly nothing to be ashamed about. If the guy has a problem with her choice of career, then the guy is the one the problem, not her.

Exactly!! and as a man you have to ask yourself if your ok with the whole internet eye humping your girlfriend. If you know what she does then you need to always be "ok" with it and not try and change her later. She is who she is can you handle that is the big question! If you truly love her (not lust... 2 different things) then you need to love her 100% of the time. period!
