I keep having dreams of an ex-girlfriend I haven't seen or heard from in over 10 years. Some of them are purely sexual which I have no complaints over whatsoever but some are the forlorn, lost-love theme which doesn't make any sense. I was definitely smitten by her when we first met and I guess I loved her. But our break up, though it sucked at the time, was no traumatic experience in my life and there's been plenty of water gone under that bridge since as well as other bridges. And other than recalling the dreams, I don't give her any thought at all during my waking hours. And I know what the obvious interpretation would be but I'm happy with who I'm with, with no regrets and I don't see how this can even be subliminal. It's just weird what the brain will show on it's holodeck while defragging itself.
Just curious if this happens to anyone else. Not a subject I'm willing to discuss with the Mrs.
