first off, fuck the yankees. hate em,. and im not gonna pretend i dont. but like them or not, that stadium was a hell of an icon. i feel terrible for all the old timers who grew up at that park. hell, generations have shared plenty precious memories im sure. embrace your memories, thats all i gotta say.

Ya I'm not even a baseball fan but I do know of the stadium's history.

as much as i hate the yankees, i am sad to see it go. their stadium represented the sport of baseball. no matter who your team was, that stadium was the promise land, and when they tore that stadium down, a piece of me went down with it.

it's sad to see it go with all the history that happened in that park.
