Yahoo Mail - Down?

Anyone else having trouble accessing yahoo at the moment?

I've been having trouble with Yahoo for about 3 weeks Tunsty. Not only the mail either messenger, groups and so on.

My niece mentioned something to me about it. It would not take her password or even let her change her password...now she's constantly emailing me through MySpace. Ugh! I really need to take a look at her computer.

Today morning dd & I accessed Yahoo without any trouble. Both Yahoo.com and our country variety.

I had no problem with my Yahoo Mail lately and have not now, either (just checked)

I can log-on to yahoo.co.uk, no problem.
When I try to open my mail account, I am being re-routed to mail.yahoo.com , then getting timed-out.

That's why I have switched to gmail.com

For some reason IMO yahoo.com has started to have the same problems of aol.com mail services. :2 cents:

I was just about to come and post this in here. It's doing exactly the same to my account, Tunsty. Can load the Yahoo.co.uk homepage, but then you try and log in and it brings up server not found.

Yahoo was very slow for me this morning, okay now.

I just checked it - it timed out first, then came on with no problems after a second log in.
SeraphiM, I also have gmail.

I think it's just Yahoo.co.uk, you can't even link off the home page if you try. I think they are either updating something or doing some work on it.

Yahoo Messenger wouldn't sign me in at all yesterday, but it's up and running again today.

Yahoo has always in my opinion been garbage....hotmail is my favorite

Yahoo's servers went down yesterday afternoon and back up this morning around 1:30 am est. It totally sucked. That's a long time for something that large and used to be down. I have to stay with them though, windows messenger and the others always drag my computer and cause problems.

Sometimes I think computers are like cats, finicky as hell. Like those people that complain about IE, I have never had a problem with it. I think its all in each system as to what works and what doesn't. Of course the servers being down affects everyone, I just mean in general.
