X-BOX vs. PS2

I've seen this thread for a few days now. I've try to keep my comments to my self because this is a never ending debate. But this comment about Sega's racer being better than GT3 is just to much.

You can't be serious...........

I don't own an Xbox. I do like a few games on it. But other than Halo and the "NEW" Splinter Cell[which is the bomb online]. The system doesn't really get much 3rd party support. Hell EA doesn't support online games for it. Come football season that means a lot to me.

Fight Night 04, which just came out last week is online for the PS2 and is a blast online.

The Box is better on paper, that's a fact. But the numbers don't lie. There's almost triple the number of PS2 in household's world wide. Add on the fact that U.S. Based systems never never sell well out side of the states [basicly that means Japan] and you can see why company's are quick to focus on Sony's system.

Metal Gear, GTA, GT4, free online and so on..... Hell San Andras alone will sell a million more systems for Sony by X-mas.

That new Splinter Cell is the shit online though. That might be the best game to come out so far this year. It'll be on the PS2 in july i believe. Best game followed by Fight Night respectfully.

I would go for the x-box, graffix are way better then ps2 but the only problem is that microsoft watches the live-play to much so you can't play copy's live.
But i'm a RPG-fan and that type mostly sucks on console so I stick to my pc

Mordor- I think the SOCOM games are great too but if you need a recomend, Splinter Cell PT is alot better. It's more challenging and the control is better. Just an opinion. & a little suggestion

You can't really compare two. They're two totally different types of games. Splinter Cell is all about stealth. Socom is more of a team based shooter. I do really like SC online. But i've logged way more hours on Socom since November.

I have played Splinter Cell (not on Live, yet), but from what I'v seen it is a more challenging game than SOCOM. The reason I say that is I haven't played SOCOM in over a month and I just logged on yesterday on a friends system. I got 16 kills and 2 deaths in my first game. Now, granted that I am good at SOCOM, but there is no way that I should be able to pick it up after over a month and destroy the other team like that. Splinter Cell is the more sound choice in that respect. Its more challenging. Like you say- its more about stealth.

PS2 is so much better then xbox... mabye not graphix wise but the games are much better... Such as Socom..
