Buddy Landel was a good wrestler with a lot of potential but the booze and drugs really sunk his ship. That corkscrew elbow of his was impressive.

I [NOBABE]miss Blue [/NOBABE]around here already. I know he knows who Buddy Landel is being a Carolina boy.

Buddy was a bit of a flash in the pan, I admit, but back in 1985 it looked like he'd have a nice feud with Ric Flair to see who the real Nature Boy was. If Buddy behaved and did well against Flair he could have soared to great heights in the wrestling business. He was a good worker in the ring and a good promo guy on the mic. Wasted talent unfortunately.
