Would you pay 1,000 dollars for a kids toy?

not only do kids toys not last forever in my observations most of them are wrecked about two weeks after the kid gets them thus making an expensive purchase of a toy for a young child even more foolish.

that may be so but her grandaughter is 3000 mile away she is getting it for her so when she is a little older that she has smething to play with when she there

Well spotted! My suggestion is save the money for the kid's education...

maybe so but its for her grandaughter i forgot to say that

If it's for her grandaughter then things change slightly, because as a grandmother she's supposed to spoil her grandchildren...however, she better be ready to get in trouble with the child's mother. You see, when I have a son, I do not want my father spoiling my son because I know how that can negatively affect my relationship with my son.

I've seen it happen one too many times. Children loving their grandparents and hating their parents because the parents got the wrong side of the "raising" deal.

So my honest opinion bro: tell your friend to not spend 1000 on a gift, and if she does, tell her to burn the price tag and act like she spent 200 bucks on it instead. Let her be the only one to know that she spent 1000 dollars on it.

Still, unless she's going to hold off and not let her play with it until she's around 14 years old, when the girl is probably not even going to care about some kid's toy like that, it's still most likely going to get wrecked in short order.

There are a lot better ways to spend that money. There are even a lot better ways you could spend the money to benefit a little kid.

Very well said sir. :hatsoff:

A doll house? Do kids even play anything these days that involves imagination?
