I think it is, either you ***** the vampire's ***** after you have been drained and become a vampire by choice, or you allow your self to die. Most people do not want to die, especially the young, so they chose to become immortal.

I may do it, if only because immorality is a sexy concept and as a former night owl I have no problem not seeing the sunlight. I'd dress up all stylish and ****, hitting all the night clubs and meeting beautiful ladies and go home with one of them each night and fuck like rabbits, then sneak away before the dawn and resume my nightlife the next day.
