Would you become a Vampire?

Joking around with another member in another thread gave me this idea, and I searched and didn't see that anyone before has posed this question. SO....given the opportunity, in the spirit of Halloween which is right around the corner, if it was real, and you had the chance, would except this "gift" of immortality?

I would. First thing I would do, is head over to the Czech Republic, and "kiss" Ms. Silvia Saint, and have a hot ass vampire wench at my side forever. Of course, I would have a gothic estate somewhere (Transylvania seems too cliche), an army of wolves and bats at my disposal, and would generally spend my time amassing a host of beautiful, undead women to live with me forever.

Pretty fucked up dream, I realize, but I love October, and staring at the full moon tonight kind of inspired this.

Yeah. I would become a vampyre if it was real. The immortality would be worth the downsides of having to give up food and sunlight.

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
I was born on Halloween and it's been my destiny to become a fucking vampire.

I've loved Vampires for a long time and I've asked myself that question many times. I think I would just because they look insanely awesome. The downsides are I would never see sunlight again and I would have to drink blood, unless I was a damphir like Blade who can go without drinking blood for a time. I love Vampires and the gothic look, but I'm not a gothic dressing or looking person.

I hear ya.....I'm not really into the gothic look either, although it does look fucking great on some girls.

The whole drinking blood thing......I don't know, but I think you would crave it if you became a vampire. Sort of like how you feel after a night of drinking heavily, and you wake up thinking about cold water or Gatorade.

I LOVE gothic girls!!! Most, but not all, like you said look great as goths. I used to date a gothic girl and she was freaky, but in a good way.

The real question is, who would you most like to exsanguinate if you were a vampyre?

First off, cool word. I'm an English major, and I had to look that one up. Secondly, no question, without any doubt, Silvia Saint. Eastern European women have kind of a vampire look to them already.......but it's really because Silvia is the hottest ever.:2 cents:

Ever since I saw Interview With The Vampire I've thought it would be something that I'd want to be. I already avoid sunlight, the only thing I'd have to get used to is drinking other animals' blood.

Being a vampire would be cool, also lets you stay out at night. And that's where all the real fun begins..

I love gothic girls too. I just think they are so hot. I found that a couple of them were real head cases though. Not that there weren't good times of course. In fact, I once convinced a gothic girl that I was seeing at the time not to kill herself! Turns out she didn't totally abandon the idea, as the police contacted me a couple months later since I was in the deceased's phone records. Anywho...

I would have to say that I would not like to be a vampire, because I would not want to have to kill people in order to live. Maybe I could be the old "blood bank" vampire. Still, I'm not sure I like the idea of immortality, but I guess if I got sick of it, I could just run out in the sunlight or something.

Senob, you wouldn't have to kill PEOPLE to live. Remember in Interview With The Vampire, Louis drinks animal blood to live. It's not a written law saying Vampires have to drink HUMAN blood to live. Blood is blood to a Vampire, no matter who or what it comes from.

I guess you haven´t seen Blood For Dracula. In this movie Dracula have to drink the blood of virgins. If he drinks the blood of someone else he start puking blood like crazy (and it gives Udo Kier an excuse to say hilarious lines like "The blood of these whores is killing me!").

I based my answer solely on the fact that any vampire chick I've ever seen is hot, and quite often horny.

Becoming a vampire might have it's perks .... but I've always been more interested in becoming a Werewolf if I had a choice.

But not the sort where it's deemed more of a curse. No. Something more akin to where I could control the transformations and have some fun would be the preferred notion.

For me it would really depend on what version of vampire you're talking about. There's so many differences in so many settings that I couldn't tell you unless the question is more specific. If I kept my sense of morality, regenerated, and could enslave people (and to a lesser extent, animals) through my bite or by turning them into ghouls by giving them some of my blood: yes. If those positive effects aren't included, then I'm not sure.
