Hope Floats, hands down.
Me and a friend were dragged in to see this piece of shit by our respective girlfriends, but after 45 minutes even they wanted to leave the cinema. That and the thin red line are the only movies I've ever walked out on after paying good money to see.

What is the latest disappointing film you watched? **SPOILER WARNING**
Since there's a "What is the latest good film you watched ?" I figured the opposite would work just as well.
We rented/watched Zodiac a few nights ago. What a disappointment. Neither of us were familiar with the case so we had no idea how it would end... which is to say that after 158 minutes we didn't realize it would just leave you hanging. I figured with the hype of the movie it would be about Jake Gyllenhaal's character cracking the case. Well, he didn't... and we let the movie drag out to the end to find that out. It was an ok movie, but I expected a lot more from the guy who made Fight Club. In this case his attention for detail was his downfall.

Outlaw was the last disappointing film I watched, it was still very good (I did post it on the good film thread) however it missed a big oppertunity for greatness, and maybe even successful sequels.

Hmm, I don't think it is the same thread. Some movies I'm disappointed in or I think are pretty bad won't always be the "worst movie ever".
But hey, it's your call I guess....
What are you talking about? Sideways was great. I can see why some people wouldn't like it, but maybe it's just not your type of film? I know quite few people who really liked it.
Vacancy. A lame horror flick were an unlikable couple (Luke Wilson & Kate Beckinsale) check into a cheap motel in the middle of nowhere, only to find that the manager and his co workers like to make snuff movies, cue lots of running around and ridiculous plot devices.

all the comic book movies also suck (hellboy, ghost rider, xmen, spider man, hulk...)

OUCH!!! Hellboy was a cool flick. X-men was cool. Spider-Man? How could you not like Spider-Man. Hulk... well, I'm apparently the one guy in the world that kind of liked it. I think the next one will be much better though.
