Worst films you have seen

A Steven Seagal film called 'The Foreigner'. Truly awful on any level. Time I'll never get back. I don't know what I was thinking even watching it.

Wasn't this flick on channel 5 this week?

(I'm so glad I missed it now)

Besides War Of The Worlds, couple of other flicks which had crap endings:

Kill Bill vol 2 - you watch & enjoy parts one & two, await the climatic sword-fest conclusion between Ms Kiddo & Bill, and you get instead.......a discussion about superheroes and a :wtf: finish - ruined it completely for me. But even worse than Kill Bill 2 is:

The Village - the ultimate in let-down endings (imo)....

I Robot - what could have been a great Sci-Fi movie, became just another special effects "blockbuster" vehicle. No exploration whatsoever of how the Will Smith character felt about being a cyborg, no detailed analysis how V.I.C.K.I extrapolated her opinions about humanity from the original 3 laws of robotics.

Disaster movies where the hero/heroine outruns the natural calamity - for example:

Killer Flood: The Day the Dam Broke
The Day After Tomorrow
Dante's Peak (note: this flick is still better than Volcano, despite my criticism)
Twister

In real life you cannot outrun mega-tsunamis (I was led to believe that by the time you SEE a mega-tsunami, it's too late) or pyroclastic flows (pyroclastic flows can travel as fast as 100 km/hour or more. The temperature within a pyroclastic flow may be greater than 500° C). And as for driving through lava? Puh-LEEZE!
I know you're supposed to suspend belief when entering a cinema, but does Hollywood expects us to leave our brains at the entrance too....?

Magnolia is the biggest pile of monkey shit...in the history of monkey shit.

Paul Thomas Anderson or P.T. Anderson or whatever he now calls himself is a talentless, pretentious dweeb who should be kicked in the balls every hour on the hour just on general principle. God, I hated that movie. Of course it is no surprise that many vulgarian movie critics loved it.

Anything with Robin Williams is a close second.

Not having read the book, I thought it was actually pretty good. I can see however, exactly how your points make a much better tale in general. I especially like understanding how the 'zeroith' law is created (outside of the movie) based on the idea of 'humanity' not just a human being.

As far as Hollywood 'blockbuster's go, I was disappointed with Terminator 3, especially the end where the nuclear armageddon happens anyway. It makes the point of the first 2 movies moot. That goofy coffin scene was dumb too, except perhaps Dr. Silberman (the shrink) when he freaks out. The only thing I liked was Kristanna Loken. :D

the worst film EVER... HAS TO BE A FILM FROM 1990 CALLED SEWAGE BABY! I AM TELLING YOU ITS SO BAD U HAVE TO SEE IT.. U CAN BUY IT ON AMAZON FOR LIKE £2.33 ITS AN ABOSOLUTE CLASSIC! .. I WONT TELL THE STORY.. BUT IT INVOLED A BORTHEL/ ABORTION CLINIC/ TOXIC WASTE DUMP, MONSTER FETUS, AND A WHOLE LOT OF BAD ACTING

Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2

These are complete rips off of both Japanese cinema and anime. Most of the scenes are from them and the action is just a copy.I still can't see why people call Tarantino a great director. In just about every film he makes he rips off scenes from other films.Sill only like one of his films Dusk Till Dawn and thats more for the action than anything else.

It's not worse than "Sex Lives Of The Potato Men" (currently on SKY Movies). Lets just say it's best watched when drunk....:

Justice League of America:

I loved the JLA as a comic (as mentioned in another thread).
This pile of crap masquerading as a movie (which was shown on SKY movies last year) is a disgrace to that comic.....apparently it was a pilot for a Justice League of America TV series which was never made (you'd understand why if you saw it too).
