Worst films you have seen

not the worst films ever made but !IN YOUR OPINION! worst films you have seen (so's we dont get any flaming)

some of mine are:

Twister -
i puked when bill 'i cant act' paxton pulls out the line IT'ssssss Not Gonna Bring Your FATHHHHEEEEERRR BACK!! awful script

I Still Know what you did last summer -
ah brandy...you should of died..and all the deaths were exactly the same just different person....least with the first one...they found other things to do!

Reloaded -
I only dont like this because its strictly for nerds who give a shit about every poxy little bit of detail...i did understand it...but i consider myself 'not that nurdish' yet...hehe

Glitter -
why did i watch this i dont even like 'messiah' carey! it was on a plane...its good thing the pilot wasnt watchin/listenin cause he would of crashed

Another 48 hours -
This film just pissed me off...the first one was sooo good but this one....eughhh

Lost Highway -
im a big fan of David Lynch...i have every episode of Twin peaks on tape and im in the process of waiting for the season two dvd (i own season 1 but its only the first 13 episodes!) but this film was two weird even for him......

The worst film I've seen recently was probably Solaris, I just thought it was plain horrible, and very dull to watch.

ok here are mine in the right thread this time!

1- Street fighter cos i was a massive fan of the video game and the film was just a load of steamy shite!!!

2- reloaded.... cos after all the hype it simply didn't live up to it i personally blame that bastard joel" there is no bar" silver

3- And last but not least Mr Paul Anderson's soldier... what a load of crap.... seeing that the first draft of the script had it as the sequel to blade runner( the only reason Kurt Russel sign up for the film)... but no no in all his wisdom pauly scraped the hole thing and did his own!!

I really do hate his work... like after seeing the mess he made of resident evil compared to the games there is no redeeming him after that one... I can only pray for the AvP film.. tho i did watch that short post preduction vid on the site where he was telling a bit of the story and its not looking to good

Street Fighter was total crap, but I didn't think reloaded was so bad, imho. Oh resident evil was crap too.

did you ever catch 28 days later...thats a supurb film....alex garland (writer) did a real good job with the story (he also wrote the book of the beach which is probably my fave book of all time)

Hmmm...

Blair Witch Project-I mean, come one, I sat through the damn movie for that? Come on!

Godzilla (The 1998 American version)-Sucked. A lot. I mean, a whole lot.

That's 2 that immediately came to mind.

I've disliked plenty of movies in my time, but never has a film filled me with disgust the way MAGNOLIA did. And I was kind of expecting to enjoy it, since it's written and directed by the guy who made BOOGIE NIGHTS, which I like. (His name is Paul Thomas Anderson, not to be confused with Paul "No Middle Name Given" Anderson, who has many fans in this thread. ;))

It took a couple watchings but Magnolia is a good movie. Tom Cruise's performance is awesome, perhaps best of his career. It's made the same way as Boogie Nights(my 3rd fav movie), but the story is very complex.

Silicone: I think 28 Days Later is more a ripoff of Romero's Dead trilogy rather than Resident Evil. It's almost like the three films fall in order throughout 28 Days Later. The initial infection (Night of the Living Dead), the attempt to hide (Dawn of the Dead), and the miltary (Day of the Dead).

That said, I think the movie was a huge letdown, especially when compared to other movies (like Romero's) in that same sub-genre.

Some of the worst I've seen:

April Fool's Day - could have been a decent slasher movie, except every character was annoying and the ending blew hard. I'm not going to give it away, but it eally ruined the whole thing, clever my ass.

The Ring - terrible adaptation/remake of Ringu, they even ruined the best part (Sadako's emerging from the screen) by cutting it in two.

The Item - low budget horror trash with a penis shaped monster and characters that try too hard to be cool.

I could go on, but I doubt anybody cares...

I enjoyed 28 days later but it wasn't what i expected... at first i was kinda disapointed cos i seen the trailer and it was excellent!
then i got it on dvd a few months later and i really enjoyed it.. tho i think if danny boyle had of went with the ending with them in the labs( it's in the special features, its only an story borad verson with a voice over) it would have being better than the miltary one...

I agree about the Blair Witch Project being the worst film ever. It was a waste of time, and not even close to being scary. The sequel sucked even more, it made no sense.

I haven't seen the alternate ending yet, I guess I'll have to give the DVD a go. I think Boyle was jsut too derivative in 28 Days Later, which is fine for more maistream movie goers, but not if you're a horror fan.

If you've seen Romero's trilogy, better yet if you've seen Fulci's stuff, 28 Days Later just really pales in comparison.

I agree on Blair Witch, one of the most overrated movies ever. The only decent thing was the television special that was released before the movie. Oh, and those little stick men, they were kinda cool.

Blair Witch, was bad, but compared to the second one,Book of Shadows or whatever it was called, it looks like a work of art. Did anyone see Dreamcatcher, I thought that was pretty bad. I went on Free Movie night, and felt ripped off.
