I finally uninstalled WOW a cpl of weeks ago. Haven't played "seriously" since end of Wrath when my guild started falling apart. As lame as that sounds... we were all really close, so when a bunch of them quit it just wasn't as much fun anymore. :\

Fiddled around in Cata, transferred 3 toons to new servers to play with some cam models and a few cam regulars.. got on MoP a bit but *snooze*

I miss it sometimes. ;_;

See, that is the same reason for me. It is indeed the people who will keep you playing (or not).
My guild fell apart about a year ago when we decided to stop running 25 men raids.
Then we managed to pick up things again with 10 men raids but then summer came and people were getting less and less interested.
And when MOP came it never picked up again, quite a lot of people didn't even get MOP anymore.
With all those people gone it has gotten quite boring.

Raiding is super boring. In fact, when I would raid with the guild, I would actually drink more. Every single raid night, I was drinking wine. I quit raiding and now I just straight pvp arena style. It's quick, easy, and dirty. I don't have to look at pandas unless I'm killing them and It gives me an adrenaline rush similiar to an orgasm. No where close, however. I play a lot of other games. It's hard to find something I enjoy as much as the arena though. Any game with PvP that isn't a shooter, I'm ready to play.

I think WOW has way more than 1-3 years left in it.

Care to revise that statement?

I think he might have been a little early about how fast it would happen, but was basically right. Here we are three years later and WoW seems to be in an accelerating decline.

I play on US server Shu'halo. My main is a DPS arms warrior named Falloppium and my alts are a DK, a priest, a monk, a pally and a rogue named PeeMeS, Tampacs, Cleethorus, Gonadish and Zygotee.
