Working out

i try and keep fit, do a bit of lifting now and again. i used to live down the gym near enough but i injured my back a few years ago, and since then i've not been able to do much roadwork, so i'm not in as good a shape as i could be.

I go 3 times a week .. do an hour of aerobic exercise .. treadmill elliptical machine bike .. 20 minutes in the sauna.
I have a Swiss Ball and some free weights at home (only 2 kg each .. do loads of reps .. sloooowly) and some resistance bands too. Walk almost everywhere I can.

Hey, if you're in Prague... I may have visited the same gym you frequent.

I have been starting working out. I go to the gym and also do stuf frome ultimate fitnace for matrial arts. I knoticed the ultimate fitnace has taken my belly down real quick. My muscals arent very big but I am trying. I used to do american kenpo but because of work I am not able to attend anymore. I would love to get back into martial arts because of the fitness and the selfe defence. Got any GYM typs?

I used to do Karate when I was little. Too bad I've lost pretty much all my flexibility now. I doubt I could actually get a kick up above my waist.

I have been into bodybuilding for a little over the last two years. I don’t go to the gym; I use mostly my own equipment. Luckily I have collected enough of it to do almost anything I could do in the gym. I’m not into anything professional and I don't go to any competitions. I just do it to improve myself. I would say I'm more dedicated then most amateur body builders out there. I have worked out every day for over the last 50 months, except for two where I absolutely couldn't, even if it's only doing cardio and flexibility training between my lifting days. Some people tell me I go to far with the way I measure out what I eat and carefully plan out all my meals.

There was a time when I was extremely fit. Could do 100 pushups in 100 seconds, could climb up a rope using my hands. Over and over.

And then I quit the U.S. Army and went home. Drank lotsa beer. Smoked lotsa.. whatever was laying around. Now I'm working my way back down to 150 pounds.. and after it all.. I gotta say being thin is more important than being buff. It takes too much work.. too much maintenance to keep truly fit.

And..lol, I suppose another huge reason is that I already HAVE a girl. ;) I dont spend my nights alone, and I'm never on the prowl with biceps, sexual resume` and fat wallet at the ready, to prove my worth to some random slut. :p

Yeah, for real... I've had to work so hard, it pisses me off when I see guys with perfect genetics that are just natural physical specimens with little to no effort. Fuck them :thefinger.

And true, the stress relief from the gym is great too.

It's up to you how often you go. You're the one who paid for the membership. If you choose to sit at home and eat Twinkies all day, that's your prerogative...

I try to workout as I did back according to what I was demanded of...

I often falter in that regard :D
