It actually has nothing to do with "growing a set of balls". I've had plenty of long and vehement arguments with my wife over the years. It gets to the point in the process, however, where the fight just isn't worth it because the woman is like a fucking dog with a bone and refuses to give up even when she is WRONG and even when she KNOWS she is wrong. It's just easier and more conducive to world peace to give up, grab another beer, the remote and head for the couch.

Yep, its called "keeping the peace". Sometimes what you're arguing about just isn't worth the hassle of having to argue in the first place. Pick your battles, and know when to just let things go. I live in a country with a significant Moslem community and they moan about their women being pains in the arse plenty. Just a heads up. In fact the Moslem girls I dated were absolute nightmares: One even refused to blow me at all
Now the downsides are that if you don't educate women then you lose vast amounts of potential that could be offered to society.
Keeping a woman at home all day makes her poor conversation.
Moslem women suffer a vastly higher suicide rate and never forget; what you do to mum, daughter will expect from her man. You want the best for your little girl, right?
Of course if none of that is enough: countries with the best histories of treating women right are first world countries and those with histories of oppressing their women live poorer lives. Coincidence on a global scale?
Now I realise this may upset you that I present so many very valid points with an opposed point of view to yours, but look on the bright side: You can always go smack your little lady around a bit until you feel better, right. You do have a little lady, don't you?
