There are a lot of girls that I know who likes porn. I think it shows that the number of women that watch and becoming fans of porn is increasing (something that anti-porn groups hate more) so it looks like porn does have a good future ahead of it.

i honestly do think its becoming more accepted. my girl digs it, and now that other people we know know we like it, they got into it too. lets not single them out, lets support it!

I think a lot of it depends on what's acceptable in your environment. Around here there's only one porn shop, 20 minutes away, in the middle of nowhere. I've never seen another woman there besides me. Yet, on the classifieds board, where you can post anonymously, there are a ton of ads for swingers and bi-curious women. My boyfriend works a lot, so he's pretty accepting of me watching porn when he's not around. I don't see anything wrong w/ watching porn, as long as you do it in moderation. There's only a problem if it becomes an addiction, or if you can't achieve an orgasm without it.

I think that women get into porn if it's well written and doesn't make women look like second class citizens. Also I think that the environment of the porn store is important. There were two in the town I used to live in. Pricillas and this one hole-in-the-wall place I called Zed's Porn Store, like Zed from Pulp Fiction.

If Zed ran a porn store instead of a pawn shop, that's what this place would be. There was a wall of HUGE sex toys in flesh colored silicone. All the packages were dusty. It had peep show booths and old magazines from the 80s shrink wrapped together. The video covers were in a juke box-looking thing and you had to go to the counter to ask for "video A-18" or whatever you wanted. A smirking Zed who was on a platform that made him tower above you would pick it out and hand it to you while trying to touch your hand. He'd get this look like he was picturing you masturbating while watching the video and then he'd nod towards the dildo wall. "You sure you don't want to get anything else to help you out?"

It's no wonder that the only other customers I ever saw going into or out of Zed's were men in trench coats. I only went in the once for myself...a few other times to show other friends how totally creepy it was. Pricillas got all my business after that. Environment is very important to women.
