This is what would happen however, I had a cast on my arm for 6 weeks when I was 13. I got a Eraser-Mate pen cap stuck inside the cast. When the cast was removed my skin had grown around the pencap and it had to be cut out.

I've had some really good sleep on the toilet, especially in the morning when I'm getting ready for work/school. You can't really oversleep because your ass starts getting cold, but it's just enough to get those extra 10 minutes that you couldn't get in bed because you wouldn't've gotten up had you had rolled back over. It's great!

I find the whole thing to just seem impossible. I mean look at it, there is no way a person could go that long without bathing at all without getting severe infections that probably would lead to death. Not moving around would almost have to lead to blood clots and possible death. Where was the rest of her family and friends? So I call 'BLARNEY' on it, in light of St. Patrick's Day coming up.
I don't know of course, but it just seems to me that it couldn't be done. :dunno:

I suspect that she DID get off of the john from time to time. Maybe she slept on the floor or in the tub, or just stood up and stretched her legs now and then. One article I read said that the boyfriend tried to coax her OUT OF THE BATHROOM every day, so I'm thinking that the lady must have - at least until the last coupla months, when things obviously went downhill for her healthwise - gotten off the pot from time to time. Maybe the EMTs were just being super-cautious with her. She prolly had some nasty, oozing sores stuck to the seat or something (restrain gag reflex) and maybe that has been tweaked a bit to "her skin grew around the seat" - I mean, unless she just put on massive amounts of weight (has that been addressed anywhere? Is this lady morbidly obese??), I find it hard to fathom that she actually grew AROUND the seat in any real sense. She's a person, not a tree growing next to a fence!

I don't buy this story at all. No way anyone could survive siting on a toilet seat (without ever getting up) for 2 years. If blood-clots didn't kill her, then infections or something else would've. This story was obviously embellished. She may have been on there for a week or so, but definitely NOT 2 years.
