Woman Gives Birth in River

So, through the magic of internet surfing, I come across this gem; a *** popping out a *** in free-running water.

(Referring to having seen natural childbirth)

“I just saw this footage and it was like my whole body responded and just went, ‘Oh my goodness,’” Thurber told SELF. “That feeling of connection to all of life is probably what hit me the most. We forget that we’re primal creatures and we can’t survive without the plants, and oxygen and trees and the water and sunshine…something spoke to me and I just wanted my *****’s first experience when they came into life to see nature.”

She denies being a "hippy drippy mum", but I can't think of any other name to describe her. More than anything, I'm shocked that she'd be willing to expose herself and her newborn to anything in the water, as well as anything in the water to whatever comes out of her. Seems egotistical, doesn't it?

I've watched the video, and her reactions upon tasting that river water seem to cement her as exactly what she proclaims she isn't.
