I take it they don't allow McDonalds in New Zealand either.

You've obviously never met a maori woman!
There are lodas of reasons why New Zeland refuse entry, harder than you think to gain entry and become a Citizen. She will have failed their medical, i'm not saying this is fair though.

Maybe she's really just a plane flight risk !
Or, maybe they're just too cheap to buy the double fare - double chair sized cabin seating.

That rule applies here in Australia too.
It comes down to the health issues associated with being overweight and the in places like New Zealand and Australia where Citizens recieve free health care, the last thing our Governments are going to do is allow immigrants in to Aust and NZ who could be concidered a drain on the health system.
Before you say "but its just one woman" please remember that if you let in one you must let in all.
If she really wants to join her Husband, then she will lose the weight required to immigrate.

I like the idea. Except change New Zealand to "England" and fat to "Polish".
