Does Wolverine have a FreeOnes smiley?! Didn't think so. :batman:
The thing about Batman is his unlimited resources. Because of this, he'd defeat anybody short of someone wearing the Infinite Gauntlet. He'd create an armour and weapon to combat Wolverines adamantium and some device to screw with his senses.
However, if you randomly plucked them out of their respective universes and dropped them in a football stadium in a fight to the death, Wolverine wins hands down. It's not even close.

this...batman ain't got shit unless he has the opportunity to prepare, random street fight wolverine every time, predetermined fight at a disclosed location, batman could win but wolverines still a bad mofucker so it's still not certain...

Hmm, this is a tough one. On one hand you have Wolverine who has adamantium bonded to his skeleton and the mutant ability of a healing factor and heightened senses. He would never give up until he's won. On the other hand you have Batman who can systematically take out the entire fucking Justice League by himself. He would also never give up until he's won.
Batman isn't stupid, he's not just going come at Wolverine with a sword and hope to cut his head off. He'd study Wolverine and find his weakness. He'd learn that Wolverine's adamantium has been removed once. He'd use his resources to build a very powerful magnetic device to rip that skeleton apart. Sure Wolverine has his Japanese background but Batman has also traveled the world to learn his craft.
They'd both be match for each other at this point but there's one difference. Wolverine would go into a berserker rage and get more feral by the minute. Batman would be a lot calmer than Wolverine and is able to analyze the situation. He would use Wolverine's ferociousness against him and take him out, not kill him. Edge, Batman.:batman:

since logan's bones are laced with admantium, batman will just have lucius fox develop some huge magnet room and trick logan into the room. turn on the magnetron and bam, wolverine gets pinned on the wall. batman will just close the door and leave logan in the room forever. end of story.

uhg, im on this weird xmen kick right now. just finished the original animated series, and now onto wolverine and the xmen.
never was a big fan of wolverine though. my favourites are rouge and gambit myself.
batman... ehhhh. i liked him in the original movie and the animated series was cool (id love to watch that again). batman returns was .. ok.

prolly wolverine. he can slice batman up methinks. batman does a lot of close quarter fighting and i think wolverines got him there.

Well, wolverine has a strong sense of smell so he would be able to smell bat turds before he strikes, the bat is only man with toys so wolverines super strength would over power him in a fight, im aware of batman's armor but wolverine could stick him right in the eye or straight up the chin, batman might get a hit in or some kind of explosive but wolverine heals so fast it would only delay the inevitable, besides in the comic books when wolverine got his adamantium ripped out, Not only did he survive, but his healing factor speed increased greatly, supposedly because it was compensating for the adamantium all the time, but even with his adamantium, he recovered from all the flesh being stripped from his body by an explosion, but any cells left alive on his body began to reform and everything grew back from that. So I say he can only die from old age or throw him in the sun? :dunno:

Batman. He's not stupid enough to face the big claws without decent hand to hand weapons.

i voted batman... punisher reminds me a bit of the marvel batman, and he used napalm on wolverine, resulting in a lengthy and painful regeneration in daredevils bathtub... with all of the gadgets bm has, i dont see why he couldnt manage to beat him. and batman DOESNT kill people.
I have both of these, the first one is better than the second one.
Marvel did the Legends of the Dark Claw comic (first), whilst DC did the Dark Claw adventures (second) in the same character style as the Superman cartoons (instant dislike).
As for the original question,Wolverine...
Because Batman has no super-human powers, it's all technology... Wolverine could kill Batman in two shakes from a piss.
Batman... because once I got older and retired, I'd still be rich as hell and having a good time with the ladies
