With Palin, is it "Country First" or "Alaska First" ???

Seeing that Palin apparently sees the Alaskan Independence Party as a completely legitimate political entity, despite their known platform endorsing secession from the U.S. and their animosity towards the same, I have to wonder where Palin's loyalties TRULY lie - Alaska or the WHOLE country (you know, "One nation, indivisible" and all that) ???

Sure, it's "just" a YouTube vid, but surely Palin and her crew KNOW that it's posted there and most likely they could (legally) request and/or demand that it be removed from their site, or at the very least, she could issue some clarification of her opinion towards this extremist organization. To my knowledge, she has not done so.

Here in my country,politics usually changes from their parties to another political parties,I think that change of political party is not a very bad thing,but for me Sarah Palin,i don't trust her as politician...

Thoughts are that you take the McCain Presidential Campaign as greater than an ineffectual laughing stock. Having said that, I also believe that this notion of
"C or A First" is an unnecessary reach and it won't mean a hill - o - beans to the majority of voters. Remember, far and few people are dedicated political junkies, they don't have time for intricate shit like this ! they're busy with their lives, their families, their careers, their diminishing investments !
In order to make the impact that you wish for, the issue at hand has to affect the constituency in a direct and negative fashion, this does not resonate. You have to make it short, sweet, and include stuff that doesn't take a whole hell a lotta analysis, preferably indictable material, as opposed to ideological.

This is a non story, AFAIAC. Reverse the roles and everything changes. The media would even blink at this "story" if this lady was a dem.

These aren't "talking points" that I know of, and I didn't acquire them from anywhere other than my own observations.

Palin is constantly talkin' to the folks from behind a "Country First" sign at a podium, but before she was ever eyed for the VP slot she "palled around with" these Alaska First people who aren't the least bit reluctant to talk about their contempt for the USA, and how they're Alaskans, not Americans.

But I suspect that more than Alaska First or Country First, she operates on a principle of Palin first, and just acquiring more power however she can get it. I've yet to see her clearly enunciate any deep or remotely profound principles that are anything more complicated than high school hockey games (Our Team is Good, Their Team is Bad) writ large.

Hmm, good question. Personally, I think it's "Sarah Palin first" and everything else second. She's young enough to where she can just use this publicity to set her career for life.

This is debatable as obama has taken virtually every position (flip flop is what they call it , here in the states) with respect to at least 4 types of tax liabilities - Capital gains Tax , estate tax, income tax, tax, tax, tax, tax.
Obama is also spouting out inconsistencies, with respect to his potential, future, energy policy. One day he says we will drill (offshore oil) . . two days later, he says that his administration will "look at off shore oil drilling", another day, he will state that we will not .
Being an attorney, Obama is skillful at moving his jaw, yet he never commits to answering questions. He seems to leave himself wiggle room, often responding with with vagaries, ambiguities, flotsam and jetsam
