Will quitting porn improve your life?

As a teenager I was obsessed with porn and fapped nearly every day, 2 or 3 times some days.
But as I got older and started dating, I would fap less often, sometimes weeks would pass.
Now I don't often go looking for it, but a few times per week when I feel like it and have nothing better to do, I'll go on "A date with Palmela Handerson" or "bop my bolony" or "buff my banana", etc...
5~15 minutes and I'm done.
I'm sure there are some people addicted to sex, but it's a minority.
Like all addictions, extreme addiction to sex is self destructive and it's better to try and change, be it by abstinence or finding a different hobby.
There's nothing wrong with occasional or even daily fapping, but when it starts to interfere with or replace relationships or other important parts of life, then it's time to change.

I tried quitting porn once. It had no baring whatsoever on my life except I started whacking off with my eyes closed instead of staring at my monitor. I know people say "if you're jerking off to porn all the time you have less of an incentive to look for a relationship" but an incentive is not much good by itself when you're fucking useless with women as I was, and still am. I'm never quitting porn again.

I agree with you. Anything that interferes with or replaces (actual) human interaction probably needs to be addressed. That's true of porn, video games, TV, social networking and several other things that are making us less social these days.

Another issue with porn is that it can sometimes influence your view of what real life sex is or should be. Most porn scenes (especially these days) are pretty unrealistic. But on the flip-side of the negatives, quite a few of the things that I've tried during sex came from me viewing porn. The trick is how (and when) to approach your partner when you want to try something a little different... without her giving you this look:

Relationships are about more than just sex. But from what we sometimes see on this board from younger guys (and girls), that fact is often lost.
