Why's it such a pain in the ass to give some rep???

It's very simple. Somewhere along the way someone around here decided to give rep a little meaning...ie FreeOnes points. Not to mention there are those who think rep is a life or death situation.

So we have to have rules so people don't sit there and rep each other to get 2,000 points right away or rep the same person over and over again.

Remember, in the grand scheme of things it means nothing. It's just a game.

Are one of you fucks implying that I cheat the system or solicit rep from people? I've never (and The Rock means never) asked anyone for rep. If anything, I don't get repped nearly often enough. Just sayin'...

N00b question time: If I rep someone, am I losing a rep point and giving it to them? I've been assuming this so far, but repping people who deserve it anyways 'cos I'm not overly bothered about my own rep.

I dunno. I'm still trying to figure out what rep is for. Once some members reached 1,000,000 rep points, I honestly believed the time-space continuum would collapse. But it didn't. So it turns out that rep might not mean anything at all!
