also it may sometimes depend on how they grew up. if say the people around them acted like that since they young some like too just follow they see and keep it going.

I'm not tryin' to start a big discussion but I especially agree with that last part. Indeed self-loathing as well as the area you grew up in and it's population are also huge factors, as well as just plain whatever type of person you yourself grew up to be as well. But glad many have picked up and noticed.
