If the question is why do filmmakers work with these girls, then I would say that a lot of the time, especially if it is a girl you have not worked with before, you don't really know how she will perform on camera. Once everything is set and ready to go, most producers won't necessarily turn off the camera if the girl is not performing up to par - too much money lost with location, make-up, production team fees. Might as well shoot it and make the best of it.
On the other hand, if the question is why do the GIRLS do it even though they are not into it, then the answer is MONEY.
