I was talking to a former porn star recently and she told me that she quit because the industry does not treat the girls in a good way. they sometimes treat them like objects. Its sad but I think it may be true.
It is true. Not everyone in the adult industry treats their girls like nothing but pieces of ass, but too many do and that's also one of the reasons some girls quit. They get sick of being viewed and treated as if they're nothing but sex objects, as if they have no feelings or brains, as if it's ok to just give them a slap on the ass and send them off to their gig for the day. It's not fun. Sure, being in porn means it's a given that people are going to view you in a sexual manner, but that doesn't mean it's right to view the girls as nothing but that. That's the customer's job, not the people we work with. Audiences view porn for simply that, to get their jollies off, and that's fine. That's what we're here for. We like to know that guys are drooling over our bodies and jerking off to us. But the environment we work in shouldn't be any less professional than any other work environment.
But like I said, there are plenty of people in this industry that are very great to work with, and I'm happy to say that I've worked with some really nice people, including who I'm currently working with. It's just sad that it just so happens that most girls end up working with scum bags when they're first starting out, since they're likely starting out with amateurs and smaller companies, who can tend to be some of the worst people to work with. Amateurs don't always like to consider themselves amateur, and they talk a big talk, have huge egos, and act like they know everything there is to know about the adult industry. A lot of girls who are just starting are naive enough to believe them, so whatever they experience with them gives them the wrong impression that
everyone in the adult industry is like that, which just isn't true.
