The most practical reason to pay for porn is quality. You can spend hours, risking a virus/hack just to get a low-quality stream, or take hours (even days) illegally downloading a larger video. Or just buy the original in 4K glory with a fast download. There's just no comparison between a low-quality rip and the original file. So long as the price is reasonable, of course. Which most are.
