I've actually found that my feet are warmer without socks on. Any time I wear socks to bed at night, I wake up in the middle of the night with frozen tootsies, so I leave them off. It's the same with wearing gloves in the winter. My fingers will be freezing, so I end up having to take off the gloves to rub my hands together. I prefer to have my hands balled up in my pockets without gloves, and my feet to be bundled up in covers with nothing to restrict them.
I'm weird.

I think sexyjgirl may be onto something- I do tend to make a connection between girls wearing socks and feeling warm. When people (men and women) are warm they feel secure and content, and I imagine for women this translates into being more comfortable, which makes sex more enjoyable. For those of you that live in the northeast, you may know how cold winter can be around here. In my house, I live on top of a hill and feel every single bit of winters windy fury. That's why my house is so cold for example- the insulation is a negative since the furnace can't keep up with the windy weather, so the cold is now trapped inside. Same way with our feeties.
