Who do you think deserves the Heisman Trophy?

*Note: The FreeOnes' Heisman poll has never incorrectly predicted the Heisman winner.

Well, based on the fact that we're all a bunch of perverts who spend our free time jerking off in front of a computer screen instead of engaged in athletic activities, I would say none of us have a snowball's chance in hell of winning a Heisman, but that's just my opinion. :hatsoff:

Hey, Gunslinger, I have a splendid "Academic Physique."

It's gonna be Colt, because he got his tema through undefeated and is one of the habitual biggies.

I could be wrong, however. It turns out I'm an idiot.

:1orglaugh

Suh deserves it. There hasn't been any outstanding seasons this year offensively, so he should get it. Plus, he's probably going to be playing for the Rams next year. Give him something.

Emotional favorite is Toby Gerhart but that cry baby Tebow will probably win.

I vote Ndamukong Suh.

I never seen a defensive player like him. He hasn't played a bad game all year. Almost single-handedly beat Texas.

That game was definitely a great argument of why he deserves it. I'm still sticking to McCoy, though. He's performed at a high level throughout. I don't know what Suh's been like throughout his college career, but I've seen McCoy get nominated in the past, not Suh.

I'm gonna say Colt McCoy.

He led his team to an undefeated regular season and is one of only three players in NCAA history to pass for 300 yards and rush for 150 yards in the same game.

I cant remember if the voting is before or after the natl championship game I think its before. Alabama Is going to absolutely destroy Texas. Mark my words. They shut down superman and the gators now they will do the same to Texas. Ingram deserves it. And this is coming from a UGA man

I think that Ingram will get it. I also think that Dan LeFevour deserves some consideration but he plays in the MAC, so what are you going to do? I guess he will just have to settle with being a better pro QB than the "big name" guys.

excellent point thatredwing just like flacco for the ravens totally under the radar in college but is a great nfl qb. just goes to show why fucking idiot "writers" should not have the vote

i knnow its writers and ex heisman winners that vote but it should be the ex heisman winners and coaches. So sick of writers having the say so in heisman and all the hall of fames voting

Every fucking writer for po dunk town newspapers and some big city ones think they are wonderful and out of the norm and vote heisman for whoever the fuck is on sportscenter the most its a fucking sham. Jus tlike that guy a sports writer for rrggh what was it? he voted for a small school to be #1 in the entire fucking country because they got lucky and beat #1 that particular day. Im going to have to look that up. he was on espn radio expalining his theory to mike and mike in the morning saying well so and so valley state from 200 population whatever it was i voted for them to be #1 in the country because they beat #1 That rationale is fucked up and that guy deserves his voting duty to be stripped

I am trying to rember who that was ill post the link if i can remember

Writers vote because they see the players more than the coaches. Coaches are doing all they can during the season to prepare for their week to week opponents.

They have almost zero time to be worrying about players not on their schedule.

:2 cents:

Toby Gerhart had the best year from Week 1 to Week 12.

I would not have a problem if Suh won it.

I might have a problem if Tebow or Ingram win it.

I also think this award should NOT be an annual award. If a player hasn't TRULY distinguished himself, than it shouldn't be awarded.

Do players even care about it anymore?

I will vote for C. J. Spiller simply because no one else will and he may have been the best ACC player in the last decade

Colt McCoy has not played well against his toughest competition(Oklahoma and Nebraska). I think that is was what makes you a Heisman Trophy winner.

McCoy has put up great numbers against very bad teams. You might as well give it to Kellen Moore, he at least beat Oregon. :dunno:

Suh has been great before this year, he was just apart of a rebuilding year defensively for Nebraska. Thats probably why you haven't heard of him until this year. To be honest, it almost sounds like you turning this into a career achievement award?

The knock on Gerhart and Suh is that they're involved with teams with multiple losses, but there's been many winners with multiple losses(example: Tim Tebow).
