Who would date a very attractive woman who is wheelchair bound?

Why does she have to be attractive,as most of the time your dating the personality not the looks.A relationship is only as strong as the bond between you and if it's just on looks won't last very long anyway.

As for dating someone in a wheelchair,it's the person your dating not the chair.So it should bother you if she's in a wheelchair or not.

So my answer is yes if we bonded.

Well, it was meant as if you met her and she was in a wheelchair. Because wheelchair or not; I still have to be physically attracted enough to the woman or I am not interested. As I would expect the same from her in regards to me.
I guess I should have typed 'would you date an attractive enough...' or something like that.

And I started this thread because I knew a woman once that her husband dumped her after she was in an accident and lost the use of her legs. And I believe she said he admitted that the wheelchair was a reason.
And 'no'. I was not the man.

I dumped her after the doctors told her she would never walk again.

Kidding. I never dated her. I hardly even knew her.

And actually, she was VERY attractive.

To me, looks don't matter. I fell in love with a lady who had a metal structure in her leg (I called her robocop) but she was the nicest person you could ever meet. She was also a looker too. So intelligent, she has managed Estate Agencies, and now works for a law firm. I didn't get to shag this lady, but I know what hugging her feels like

If she's paralyzed, the sex may very well be over...except for oral of course. Since most paralyzed people have no control over their lower body, they must wear a colostomy bag. THERE is where you find if you care about this person!!! I have a good friend who is going through this. A car wreck 10 yrs. ago left his lovely wife without any feeling below her shoulders. She can move her arms a little but not her fingers, wrists,etc. He gets approx. 2 hrs. sleep each night. He turns her every 2 hours in her bed to avoid getting sores. He truly LOVES his wife.
